The Best AI Newsletters, Blogs, and Resources to Follow in 2025
Full disclosure: I’m way behind on my reading. Not exactly an earth-shattering reveal, is it? Especially given that Q1 is well over and I’m just now getting around to sharing a “best of” post for 2025. There’s a strong chance you might even be in the same boat. If so, don’t worry; you’re clearly not alone.
The rapid pace of developments in machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI), and the downstream impact of these developments on the marketplace are nothing short of breath-taking. At times the news can even panic-inducing.
Decades of cheap and powerful compute and storage, coupled with deep pockets seeking higher returns-on-investment (ROIs), have hastened the advent of AI models that now have the capability to optimize their performance independently and without human interaction.
The wide-ranging social implications of these advancements are not easily glossed over. Without putting too fine a point on it, we may often feel as though we went to bed in one world and woke up in a completely different one altogether.
To make sure I didn’t miss something while I was sleeping—and to make sure I’m not a slouch when it comes to getting my daily pages in—I have a solid rotation of subscriptions and curated links I return to frequently to close any perceived (or real) knowledge gaps.
Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research – The scholars at BAIR provide in-depth insights into research and development in AI topics as wide-ranging as jailbreak evaluations, diffusion models, and reinforcement learning algorithms (among numerous others). https://bair.berkeley.edu

Semi Analysis – In their own words, the coverage at Semi Analysis, “spans the entire supply chain, from semiconductor fabrication essentials to cutting-edge AI Models, software, and infrastructure for them.” As such, Semi has become an essential “one-stop shop” for me on the matters of hardware and AI performance. https://semianalysis.com/
Liberty’s Highlights – The surest way to get me to read something is to make it not feel like work. In the case of Liberty’s Highlights, it says so right on the label. One of Liberty’s six stated “rules of the game” is literally, “I don’t want this to feel like work.” I suppose the difference should be obvious given Liberty’s nickname (“the Serendipity Engine”) and its tagline ("Most haystacks don't even have a needle.)” Bonus points for the podcast episodes on Denis Villeneuve (director of Sicario) and energy policy/nuclear power with Mark Nelson. https://www.libertyrpf.com/
Marcus on AI – The author, psychologist, and cognitive scientist, Gary Marcus, is a leading voice in artificial intelligence whose posts cut across the legal, ethical, and business aspects of AI. https://garymarcus.substack.com/
MBI Deep Dives – Polymath Abdullah Al-Rezwan runs MBI Deep Dives wherein he analyzes one stock each month with his own proprietary methodology. The acronym “MBI” stands for “mostly borrowed ideas,” aptly highlighting where we find ourselves in this current situation: Most of us are not heads down trying to come up with the next big thing; instead, we want simply to process some of the bigger ideas that are driving the market today. https://www.mbi-deepdives.com/
Ahead of AI – Sebastian Raschka is an LLM researcher who started Ahead of AI to, in his words, “help you keep up with the latest developments and research trends in the fields of machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence.” He is the author of Build a Large Language Model (From Scratch). https://magazine.sebastianraschka.com/
Superhuman.AI – Updated daily, Superhuman AI delivers short, insightful pieces on subjects relevant to the development and commercialization of AI and AI related technologies. Superhuman AI makes good on its claim to catch you up on what’s most relevant in under three minutes a day. https://www.superhuman.ai/
The Business Engineer - Gennaro Cuofano is the founder of The Four Week MBA and The Business Engineer. As such, his material tends to wade deeper into the business end of the pool versus the technical. As a former engineer who crossed over to the dark side of sales, I feel like he gets me. https://businessengineer.ai/
New Economies - New Economies takes a more venture-based approach to the market (publisher Ollie Forsyth spent four years plus at Antler) which means you will find in-depth pieces on population aging, consumer habits, the state of IPOs, and which startups to keep an eye on. Additionally, there are ample resources for founders and operators as well. https://www.neweconomies.co/
AI Scout – Billed as “Your AI Tools Directory,” AI Scout provides an exhaustive list of AI tools that is updated daily. As you can imagine, a list of this size could get unwieldy in short order. Thankfully, the material is filterable by over forty different types of tasks to help you find what you need and fast. https://aiscout.net/
Whether your aim is to optimize your code, find and analyze a new investment, or solve a critical problem in the industry, the information and the tools you require to be successful are more readily available now than they ever have been. Maybe with all the time I saved catching up on everything I’ve missed, I can put together a list of business and technology books worth sharing as well.
In the meantime, what are your favorite outlets for relevant and up-to-the minute industry updates? This is obviously not a definitive list. Find me on LinkedIn and let me know who and what I missed. Until next time!
